Hello all, hope you are well and enjoying the planning part of the year with lots of exciting sailing plans for 2024, I am sure. It may seem a little wrong to try and bring everyones attention to the end of the sailing season by thinking about the AGM and laying up supper, but this can just go in diaries for now and then you can come back to it later in the year.

I am pleased to announce that this year the AGM and laying up supper with be held in historic Stratford-Upon-Avon, which is about as far from the sea as you can get in the UK, but it does have good transport links by road, rail and canal, just not by sea! It has been booked at the DoubleTree, Hilton, in Straford-upon-Avon, which is centrally located near Shakespares birthplace and the river Avon with its beautiful narrow boats and famous theatres. )<1507089>(

The AGM and laying up supper is booked for Saturday 2^nd Nov 2024. There is a link here to reserve accomodation if you like planning early but more information will be sent by email nearer the time. I have already booked a room for Rana and me to check the link works. I found the orange book now tab only works if you press ctrl and click at the same time, I think this has something to do with it being in a document rather than and email , unless its a quirk of my computer, who knows! Furthermore there is plenty of alternative accomodation in the town, which might suit some people better, and then you can just join for the meeting and dinner. Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible later in the year.
